Twin Lakes Resort

I’ve stayed in the cabins for years. They have made some improvements but it’s still a very rustic cabin. Set your expectations: it’s basically glamping. If you ask me, they charge too much for what it is. That said, the lake is beautiful. It’s crowded on the weekends but if you can be there during the week, it’s quite peaceful.

The New owner is doing a great job! Most of the staff is very helpful, especially the lady behind the counter at the store. Stephanie in the restaurant is one of the best waitresses I've ever had! Too bad she left before the season ended. The only thing they are missing is WiFi for customers... cell service is virtually non-existent up there...

Been coming here for YEARS. We look forward to this trip all year. This year was very different. Cabin was dirty. Dog hair everywhere and all over the kitchen. Had to wipe things down several times to try and make it acceptable to prepare food. GROSS! There is a note posted if dishes are not clean or sanitized to let them know so they can take care of it, but they didn’t. Bed broken, stove top not attached and freely slid around. One burner occasionally worked. Kitchen sink leaked. Dishes were not clean, we had to wash them if we wanted to use anything. All was reported, nothing fixed or taken care of. Stove is a fire hazard as it likely had a short. They did come look at it, but we were told that we should still be able to use it and they would see if they could find some parts to secure the stove top down. We never heard back. Bees and mosquitoes were awful this year. Normally never a problem. Unsure what change has occurred this year. No water for resort other than cabins. Whatever happened last summer with the water it has not been fixed. Cleaning, picking up after dogs, and leash rules posted not enforced so watch where you step. Store staff were very nice and polite. Update: water went out last night we were there. No showers, washing dishes, toilets. 😖
